W/C 13th November 2023

In topic, we will continue to learn about the Inuits and make comparisons about their way of life to ours.
In English, we will be developing our sentence structure and writing our news from the weekend.

In Maths, we will be learning and developing our knowledge of number bonds to 10 by doing a variety of practical activities to ensure this knowledge is embedded before moving on to recording the number sentences.
In continuous provision, we will be playing maths addition games, sorting alien and real words ,leaf printing and sorting photos to compare Inuits to us.
Important information:
On Fridays we will no longer be doing PE as the children have a 2 hour session on a Thursday. Every Friday this term we will be doing Music and RE as we will be practising our Christmas play “Snuggle up stable”. This has a Christian theme so the children will be learning about the birth of Jesus.
This coming Friday the 16th is a teacher training day so school will be closed for the children.
To support ‘Children in Need’ day this year, Mrs Maude is running a design a poster competition and on Thursday the we will be celebrating by wearing our pyjamas or something spotty to raise money for the charity.
Have a great week.
